Stress & Anxiety
In today's world, feeling overwhelmed is far too common. This has grown even more intense since the stress and social isolation associated with the COVID pandemic.
No matter how much we achieve we are not free of worry. Regardless if you are a young person trying to balance your education, personal interests and family, a parent working hard to provide for yourself and your family, or a person who feels anxiety is impacting your life, you may benefit from therapy and the co-creation of individualized solutions that work. Kenneth utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, Mindfulness and many other forms of therapy to help reduce stress and anxiety to a level that allows you to enjoy your life to a greater degree. |
Trauma Therapy
The impact of trauma may be one of the least understood factors in the happiness and success of a person’s life. There are 2 categories of trauma. "Big T" trauma and
"little t" trauma. "Big T" trauma is associated with one time events such as explosion in a battle setting or car wrecks where as "little t" trauma is long term, ongoing abuses such as sexual, mental, physical or emotional abuse. Ken has seen the impact of trauma on people for many years. Trauma can serve as a block for progress in other areas such as recovery and or relationship therapy. He is trained in and uses Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Regulation Integration Process (TRIP) trauma therapies. These are both done effectively as an in-person therapies, as well, as via telehealth. |
Substance Use & Recovery
Whether you are wondering if you have a problem with substances or have been clean and sober for some time and still feel something is missing, Kenneth England has a high level of experience in the treatment of substance use, and is well-versed in the interplay between therapy and recovery issues.
Recovery is an important part of the process, but does not necessarily address all contributing issues leading to the abuse. In addition to his own 33+ years in recovery, Kenneth has spent over 15 years working in some of the best and most respected treatment centers in Los Angeles and the country. He services a diverse clientele from all over the world and from all professional backgrounds. He works with both the client and their families to best support the journey towards recovery. |

He also brings his personal interest and studies in the fields of Mindfulness, along with his own recovery experience of thirty plus years. Kenneth worked in the film business in Los Angeles for seven years prior to changing his career journey to help others with their struggles. Kenneth finds that it is very important for patients to receive quality service, empathy and guidance in their life changing decisions for recovery.
